Born into a family who was heavily involved with horses, Kate started riding as soon as she was born. Her mother, Jennifer Campbell, had been showing horses for years, and made sure her daughter was going to follow in the same footsteps! Kate started at Helensburgh Pony Club (south of Sydney) just before her 4th birthday. She continued throughthe ranks of Pony Club to the highest levels. At the age of 14, Kate was selected onto the Australian Prince Phillip Games Team, and was sent on tour of the USA representing Australia at the International Games where the Australian Team won the Silver Medal. It was Kate's first Arabian mare - a partbred mare Pasadena Shelley - who was her mount to get her selected onto the team.

Upon returning from the USA, Kate was in full swing showing both her families horses as well as riding for other studs. Kate was 15 when her parents purchased her first purebred Arabian - a gelding named Kankara Kaseem. "Joe", as he was to most, and Kate took on all before them in the youth sections of Arabian showing, and from there Kate was hooked on Arabs!

Although Kate's passion lies mainly in the preformance arena, she has shown several horses to Australian Championship wins in halter. Kate loves to start horses from the beginnings under saddle, and bring them on to win at National levels. She loves to see her horses being ridden and shown by youth and amateur owners.

Kate looks forward to continuing the so far successful breeeding program of Future Farms with husband Doyle, as well as showing clients superstar horse for many years to come.
